We encourage all members to post pictures of themselves and/or their boats etc. in their signatures. This brings a more personal feel to the forum which is what we're after. It is requested that you use the thumbnail size for this and limit your signature to four pictures.
There is no picture hosting feature on this forum, but you can use free hosting services such as www.photobucket.com which is very easy to use. Sign up and look for the "options" link above the area where you browse photos on your computer. This will enable you to upload your pictures in the size specified. Choose avatar size for avatars, thumbnail size for signature pictures, and messageboard size for pictures you want to include in a post. Press the browse button to locate the picture you want to upload, then double click on the code below the picture.
It works best if you limit your uploads to three pictures at a time. Once the pictures have uploaded to your photobucket album, click on the box below the picture for those you wish to post. Look at the bottom of the page and you will see a block for generating the codes necessary for placement onto this forum.
Right click on the codes beginning![]()
and copy them for use in your signature or in your posts. Right click on the code beginning http: for avatars. Come back to this forum and right click paste where you want your photo to appear. Instructions for posting avatar pictures are listed on your profile page which you can access by clicking on your username.

NOTE: You must set your photo album to "private" on photobucket, otherwise you will have no control over who sees photos you have in your album. If you make no designation to keep it private, it will be made public by default.
